What is this test for?
The Respiratory Panel is a qualitative multiplex nucleic acid test for the simultaneous detection and identification of nucleic acids of viruses that may be responsible for infection in samples from people with respiratory tract infections.

- Sample type: Throat Swab + Nasal Swab
- Tube / container: Special swab
Preparation
No special preparation is required. If you are unsure, ask us before your blood draw.
Testing and results
- Method: RPCR
- Run schedule: Tuesday/Friday, samples received by 11:00
- Turnaround time: Next day, 18:00
