Why get a check-up?
Whatever problem we face in life, we all know how important it is to notice it early and take steps to address it. This awareness matters in health just as it does in every other area of life — with one difference: when it comes to our health, what is lost may be impossible to replace.
A check-up, which literally means "to check," can include a very wide range of tests. What matters is screening for common diseases where early diagnosis saves lives, and designing personalized check-up programs that take into account the individual's risks such as genetics, diet and lifestyle.
At our laboratories, we favor personalized check-up programs. When designing them, we map out the patient's risks to inform them, and we try to explain what benefit we expect from these tests. Because a check-up is screening for common diseases rather than for one specific disease, it is not possible to screen for every disease.

What is a check-up, and why should I have one?
A check-up is a screening program designed to detect common diseases at an early stage, before symptoms appear. Early diagnosis improves the success of treatment for many diseases. We recommend choosing a package suited to your age, sex and family history.
Which check-up package should I choose?
For a general checkup, the Standard Check-Up is suitable. If you are over 40, the women's or men's panels are recommended; if you have a family history of diabetes or heart disease, the related risk panels; and for children, the Children's Panel. If you are not sure, you can ask us via our WhatsApp line.
Do I need to fast for a check-up?
Yes. Because check-up packages include tests that require fasting, such as fasting blood glucose and cholesterol, you need to fast for 8–12 hours. You may drink water during this time; tea, coffee and smoking break the fast. Coming in the morning is preferred.
When will my check-up results be ready?
Most routine biochemistry and CBC tests are resulted the same day. Some hormone and specialized tests in the package may take longer. Once all results are ready, you can view them online with your Turkish ID number (or passport number for foreign nationals).
Can I have my check-up done at home?
