Datalab Medical Laboratories
Today, diagnosis cannot be separated from laboratory parameters. In the diagnosis and treatment guidelines issued by various professional societies, the laboratory holds an important place right after the physician's clinical assessment.
DATALAB Medical Laboratory was founded in Kadıköy in April 2002 by two physicians who understood how important reliable laboratory results are to the physician in making a diagnosis: Dr. Tahir KARSLIOĞLU and Dr. M. Şeyda ÖCALMAZ, both medical specialists. Working with advanced technology instruments and systems, our laboratory expanded its service network by opening its Pendik branch in its third year. In 2013 it merged its branches and continues to serve in its 7-story building in Pendik.
Our organization began building its quality culture and organization with the ISO 9001 Quality Standard, and on February 5, 2020 it was accredited to the TS EN ISO 15189 standard by implementing a quality management system that ensures pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical activities are carried out properly.
In addition to the routine patients it has served since 2002, Datalab provides on-site laboratory services to many organizations, performing the tests requested by occupational physicians on site. The on-site laboratory service offers many advantages for workplaces and employees, such as preventing lost work time, faster and more reliable results, lower costs and easier follow-up.
Because of the variety of sectors among the workplaces it serves, Datalab has expanded its test menu accordingly and continues to do so. Our microbiology and biochemistry specialists keep up with advances in technology, methods and instruments and take great care in training our experienced staff on quality standards, working to deliver accurate and reliable results.
