What is this test for?
Scheduled test! Please consult the laboratory. A fresh sample is required to run the test, and the sample must reach the laboratory within a maximum of 3 hours. Whole blood should be drawn into two hirudin (TI-VAC) tubes. Because of sample stability, it is important to draw the blood close to the courier pickup time. Preparation
Aspirin, abciximab and thienopyridine-derivative antiplatelet drugs must be asked about. 3 tubes of blood must be collected.
Testing and results
- Run schedule: Weekdays at 15:00 (Samples are not accepted after 15:00.)
- Turnaround time: Wednesday/Monday/Tuesday, 18:00
