Preparation

(24-Hour Urine must be collected into 10 mL 6N HCl. Urine collected into acetic acid or boric acid is also accepted. Keep refrigerated and record the total urine volume collected. During the two days before and during urine collection, do not eat spinach, chocolate, tomatoes, ice cream, cake, red meat, chicken or fish, and do not take ascorbic acid.)
