What is this test for?
Used to evaluate androgen deficiency or excess. Important in the evaluation of hirsutism, amenorrhea, polycystic ovary syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and adrenal carcinomas. Other: should be interpreted together with androgens (testosterone and androstenedione).
