What is this test for?
The anti-factor Xa test is used to adjust heparin dosage, especially in hospitalized patients

- Sample type: Plasma (Na-Citrate) (Frozen)
- Tube / container: Light-blue-top tube
- Sample volume: 1 mL
Preparation
Blood sample must be collected 4 hours after LMW heparin injection. Plasma sample must be split into at least two separate tubes and frozen.
